Room 12
Jack and The Beanstalk Plant Animals On Thursday 1st July Room 12 brought in their plant animals the students' had created at home. The room was full of chatter and excitement as we wandered around the classroom to have a look at all the fantastic creations.
The children voted for their favourite animals. Well done to Logan Hay for winning first place with his perfect platypus, Coco Lance with her mighty mouse and Campbell Ayres with his salty seal tied for second place and third place went to Lucas Slack for his cool cat. Extreme Sports Stock Car Visit Year Four have been very lucky to have several visitors come to our school and talk about their sports. On Thursday 20th May Ricky, Greg and Paul come to St Thomas's School and spoke to us about Stock Cars.They told us about their safefy equipment, racing, and crashes. They even did a speedy drive on the school field which caused excitement all over the school...
Thank you Ricky, Greg and Paul for bringing all your gear to our school, we loved it!
Rob Dallimore On Friday 28th May Rob Dallimore came to St Thomas's and spoke to the Year Four students' about competing in the Coast to Coast. There was great excitement in Room 12 as Rob inspired the students' with his talk and his very high-tech gear. Thanks to Rob for taking time out of your busy day to talk to us and an extra special thanks for the books and t-shirt you donated to the school, we really appreciated it.
