Maths Challenge

Room 12 A's Rocket Maths Challenge.

This was our second practical Maths Challenge.
We were all put into groups, and Miss Gibson gave us our challenge.

Each group had to work together to plan and build a rocket using popsicle sticks, 7cm sticks, blue tack and a base board.

We had to use all the sticks in our space craft, and it had to stand securely on the base board. Some of us found that our first attempt did not work because we used small sticks to support it and it was difficult to use all the sticks.

In these photos you can see us building our second attempt rocket or spacecraft and our finished designs.

We learnt that we needed to work together communicate and use everybody's ides to build one thing.
