Term Three – already!?!
Well half the year has flown past. We can’t believe it is Term 3. This term will be bursting with new learning in Room 20.
Check out below some of the things we will be up to…And come in to visit us and have a look at our ever changing classroom J
We have just completed the Keeping Ourselves Safe and Firewise topics and done an exceptional job at this sometimes tricky learning. We are going to have a visit from a fireman who will be asking us questions about what we have learnt!!
In Maths we are learning all about time, what the hands mean on a clock and how to find out how long something takes. We are working hard on our Numeracy too.
Writing is going to be very busy this term. We are writing lots of letters to people and we are going to learn about how to write a report. Maybe this will see some of us becoming budding journalists…
PE is great (when it isn’t raining). We are bouncing basketballs, throwing netballs and kicking footballs. Look out All Whites here comes Room 20!!
We have all done incredibly well in our Reading this year and have all shot up reading levels. We are learning all about answering questions about what we read. Ask us all the time!
ICT is pretty exciting this term with all the computer upgrades. We are looking forward to passing our Computer Licenses.
Not to mention the Calendar Art (which is already underway in our room – bet you can’t wait to see our masterpieces – but you will just have to wait and see.)
Last but not least the CULTURAL FESTIVAL. Wow we are all working hard during lunch times learning our routines and making sure we are going to look fabulous when you come to watch us.
In Room 20 we are combining our Integrated Topic with this festival. It is called Colours of the World and is a celebration of all cultures and their festivals.
