Room 13

 Welcome to Room 13

Our winter term, term three is 10 weeks long and we have an exciting programme planned.

Intergrated Topic for the term covers social studies and technology.  The hook we are using is Dora the Explorer and how she gets around the world.

We will be focussing on how she travels from one country to the next (flight) and all the different cultures she encounters along the way.  As this is a very big area of study we are focussing on our families in the class and then possibly a few countries that the children are specifically interested in.

At the end of this term we will have our cultural festival for which permission slips have been sent home.

Some children in Room 13 have been 'enjoying' our muddy playground, if your child is one of them please will you send some extra clothes to school and a plastic bag so that we can return muddy items.

Parent interviews this term will give us a chance to report back to families about their children's progress.
