Welcome to Term 4, 2011
Room 16, Year 1.
We really enjoyed Term 3 and we learned lots too. A highlight was our very informative and entertaining Assembly Item in Week 2. Thanks to all our parents and families for their support.
Our topic this term is Stepping Out. This is all about road safety - a very important topic for us! This included visits from the Police and we even got to sit in the Police car!
We have demonstrated that we can cross the road safely, watch for 'sneaky driveways' and do up our seatbelts when we travel in a car. We know that we must not disturb the driver when we are passengers.
We will continue to learn our High Frequency Words. If we now know how to 'read' these words we can begin to learn how to 'spell' them. Don't forget to practise the Magenta and Red lists first. Spelling these words is more difficult than reading them.
