Room 16

Welcome to Term 3, 2013

Room 16, Year 1.

We have a had a great start to the new year. Weare enjoying our swimming sessions. These are on Mondays and Thursdays.

Our topic this term is Spongebob & the Nutrient Superheroes. We are learning all about water safety and later in the term we will be learning about healthy eating and exercise.

During this year we will begin to learn our High Frequency Words. If we know how to 'read' these words we can begin to learn how to 'spell' them. Don't forget to practise the Magenta and Red lists first, followed by the Yellow list. Spelling these words is more difficult than reading them.
