Term Three
Ahoy me hearties! Yo-ho-ho you guessed it, this term we are learning about Pirates. Will our perspectives of pirates have changed by the end of term three?
We all competed in the school cross country and had some amazing results, taking out some of the top places in both the girls and boys. A lot of effort was put into leading up training sessions and on the day itself.
The term started with the strand of measurement where we learnt about the statistical inquiry process and conducted our own statistical investigation. From week four till the end of term we will be working with number, some addition and subtraction and others multiplication and division. Problem solving activities will continue to be included into the maths programme.
Large ball skills is our focus for term three. Students will be given opportunities to learn and further develop their skills and play modified large ball games. When it is fine syndicate sport gets underway on the courts or the field, and on those days it is too wet we all bring out our dancing moves at Jump Jam in the hall.
