Room 5

Ice cream, and in particular the ingredients needed to make it were rationed during World War 2. These children munched on carrot ice creams instead! 

Welcome to Term 2 in Room 5 

World War 2

Our topic for Term 2 is centred around World War 2 and in particular how children around the world were affected during this time.  Paying close attention to such things as the  need for rationing, the affects of being an evacuee and how school life was back in the 1940s, the children in Year 6 will experience first hand what it was like by being a part of our World War 2 Day.

 Look out for some odd looking characters around the hall on that day.....
