Term Two 

Welcome back everyone to our new term. Our integrated topic is all about a design challenge with a competition to enter near the end of the term.

We have already begun one of our technology challenges and throughout the term the students will be following the technological process in their learning. They will be planning, writing a brief, designing prototypes and describing their learning journeys.

There is a trip out of school planned in week 7 which will give students valuable prior infromation for their big design challenge due in week 9!

Procedural writing will be the genre we focus on for the term and students have already started setting their writing goals for this purpose. All reading and homework activites are leading towards the big desgn challenge at the end of the term.

I look forward to students producing high standards fof work and all the class having lots of fun in their learning. Please continue to support your child in their sustained reading at home.
